Categories may be grouped further by apparatus and age based upon registrations received.
Student Category vs. Emerging Pro
-
The majority of competitors will compete in the Student Category.
-
The Emerging Pro Category is reserved for competitors who have achieved a professional level of artistry, difficulty and technique. These competitors are those who may have already worked professionally in the circus performing arts industry or who are actively working towards obtaining professional work. We may request a video or other proof from your school that you are in the correct category. Space in our Emerging Pro competition category is limited.

Music & Costumes
-
Music and costumes must be appropriate for all ages. No crude, foul or suggestive language in music. Costumes should not be revealing or suggestive in nature. Choreography must be age appropriate.

Competitors/coaches must bring their music on their own device (phone, tablet, etc.) that will be played on our sound system during the event.

Equipment & Rigging

Competitors may bring their own apparatus or use an apparatus provided by Aerobatics. Please present your apparatus when you check in, so it can be inspected for safety.

Flying: Competitors may incorporate flying into their routine as long as the coach who has been practicing lifts with them is present and able to call the lifts to the competition winch operator/rigger.

Coach Requirement - each competitor must have a coach present with them during their performance.

Only competitors, registered coaches and event staff are permitted backstage.

Stage Testing - each competitor will have 3 min for stage testing before their category competition begins. Specific schedules will be sent out prior to the event.

Spectators are welcome but must purchase a ticket to attend the event. Tickets will be available HERE starting October 1.

Tickets are $10/person per session. Children age 6 and under are free.

Competition registration fees are due upon registration and are non-refundable.
Additional Act Registration
If you wish to compete in more than one act, please list each apparatus in your registration form.
There is a $25 discount off each additional act.
We will charge the card provided during registration for the additional acts.
